About Aimé Leon Dore
Aimé Leon Dore is a clothing and lifestyle brand from New York. We started in 2014 with a small run of pieces and a clear idea: design clothing we actually want to wear, and make it well enough to keep wearing. Everything since has come from that same place.
Where we come from
The brand began in Queens and still carries that part of the city with it. New York shapes how we think about almost everything we do, from the cut of a jacket to the music playing in our store. We’re not trying to design for a trend cycle. We’re trying to design things that still feel right a few years from now.
What we make
Our collections cover most of the wardrobe, released in seasonal deliveries through the year so each one builds on the last:
- Menswear — tees, polos, sweatshirts, shirting, knitwear, trousers, sweatpants, shorts, outerwear and suiting
- Women’s Capsule — a focused range with its own fit and seasonal pieces
- Footwear and headwear — sneakers, leather styles, caps and hats
- Accessories — jewelry, bags, leather goods and everyday items

How we approach design
We keep the design simple and considered. Fabric and construction come first, and we’d rather get a smaller number of pieces right than put out more than we can stand behind. The goal is clothing with a fit you can live in and a look that holds up past the season you bought it in.
Beyond the clothing
Our New York flagship is home to Café Leon Dore, a coffee shop built into the store. It reflects how we see the brand — not only what you wear, but where you spend your time and the people you spend it with. Music, basketball and the city run through the work as much as the garments do.
